When you suffer you're beautiful

Do. 05.07. / Sa. 07.07. 21 Uhr, Thalia Theater Gaußstraße

A young artist from Israel emigrates to Germany and follows in the footsteps of Rainer Werner Fassbinder, a great movie director of Germany, known for his power excesses and rapture of love. This research finally introduces him to the best, most insidious and
effective instrument of social oppression, love. A secret is revealed to him: Today's intimacy is tomorrow's romance. The romance of today is the intimacy of yesterday. We know what intimacy means, but how can we live it, create it? In the procedure of a play-form-development, the attempt to approach one's own biographies, the border between private and public begins. The big question opens up: „ What does it mean to have a relationship in times of radicalisation and fear of the unfamiliar, unknown, foreign?“
